Under 7’s win game on defence
Today saw a terrific defence from a well organised team. It is something the team worked on Friday night at training, spreading out and defending in a straight line plus some sensational cover defence. We scored some good tries but we are still a little bunched around the ruck, but we will learn to spread the ball over time with more practice.
Jack H, Jack D, Sidney and Ryan K all continued to show their ball running skills. Brayden is proving to be a quick and elusive ball runner, ghosting through the line. Tom showed some natural ball running, not to mention his determined cross field diving cover defence. Oscar, Michael and Hamish sized up their opponents well in defence, and did very well coming off the line together.
Well played to all the players and remember the most important part of playing is to learn how to play better while at the same time having lots of fun
